Impact Instruction Group was selected by a multinational professional services firm to create a leadership program for that specifically addressed the critical behaviors needed when stepping into a leadership position, or participating in high-visibility projects and stretch assignments.

It combined leadership and communication content through a one-and-a-half day live event, as well as a pre-work assessment and post-event webinar series over a six-month program.

Our Solution and Approach

Strategic Leadership Excellence for Women was custom-designed, providing 50 participants with a platform to:

  • Connect skills as an emerging woman leader to organizational performance
  • Identify leadership and communication strengths, plus growth opportunities in seven key categories
  • Uncover unique mistakes that can stall leadership and career growth
  • Develop the behaviors and skills that build overall leadership identity, credibility, and executive presence

Themes addressed included leadership identity, strategic relationships, personal brand, executive presence, strategic risk taking, and negotiation.

Delivering Results

An aggregate of evaluation scores demonstrated that the Strategic Leadership Excellence for Women Program made a real impact. On a scale of 1-5, with 5 being the best, the attendees provided the program with an overall score of 4.3. It received high marks for providing applicable skills, being a good investment of time, providing a beneficial format mix, and delivering content to help accelerate attendees on a leadership path, among other areas.

For example, one consultant remarked, “The facilitators were fantastic – eloquent, personable and did a great job at applying previous experiences to demonstrate real world practice of concepts. They really understood our business. The reference materials that were provided are invaluable.”

This program received an APEX award in 2016.
